Her first term as a member of the Cache County School Board has been rewarding according to Kathy Christiansen who has decided to seek a second term.
She has no opposition in the upcoming November election, so it appears she will hold the seat for another four years.
Christiansen says it has been exciting to see the new high school finished and other building projects coming along. Most of all, the candidate says she is passionate about education.
“I just want everybody to be as successful as they possibly can. When you have an education there are just so many more doors that open up for you, it makes life more interesting, more economically sound and actually a lot more fun.”
Christiansen taught school for 25 years and her four children went through the county school system.
