He was a guest on KVNU’s For the People show last January, and popular political satirist Mark Russell returned on Wednesday’s show. He used his characteristic humor to dissect this week’s vice presidential debate between Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Tim Kaine.
“I don’t know if anybody else watched it but my son, John, and myself. People don’t watch it, but I found it fascinating.
“I thought maybe Hillary’s (Clinton) de facto running mate would have been there last night, but Bill had a date,” Russell joked. “And then in the middle of it I pictured Vladimir Putin calling Donald Trump saying ‘Whose side is Pence on anyway?’”
Russell told host Jason Williams that he tried retirement for awhile but he’s back and in the middle of a 15-city tour. You can see more of his latest reactions to the news at MarkRussell.net.
