Elections ballots have left the Cache County Clerk’s office and County Clerk Jill Zollinger says local residents should be receiving the mail-in ballots before the week is over. She says anyone who does not receive the ballot within a week should call or go into the clerk’s office.
Some people, especially students who are here temporarily, are concerned about not receiving a ballot. Zollinger says that will not happen if you have updated your address.
“We have a state senator that we are voting on,” Zollinger explains, “and all of our reps are up for election. We also have a state senator that will be elected by part of the county.
“Then there are some local races. There are some Cache County races and local school board. There will be judges on the ballot. There is the water conservancy question.”
Zollinger says you can go to the county’s website for a copy of all the ballot information, including names of candidates and explanations of ballot initiatives, such as the water conservancy district.
