It is getting closer and, in fact, Logan’s Summerfest Arts Faire is now accepting applications from visual artists, performers and food vendors for its 2017 event. It is scheduled to take place June 15-18 on Logan’s Tabernacle square.
Executive Director Elaine Thatcher says performers and food vendors wishing to participate can apply on Summerfest’s website, visual artists and craftspeople may apply through Zapplication, an online arts application service.

For those who would like to apply for this year’s Featured Artist, Thatcher has a message.
“All they need to do is just come in to our office, bring in up to two pieces of work they would like to be considered as poster art for Summerfest,” Thatcher explains. “If they live too far away to be able to bring in pieces of their work, they can send in high resolution photos. We have a committee that chooses a piece they want to represent us.”
Thatcher says that artist will have a one-person show at the February Gallery Walk, they will get a free booth at Summerfest and be on all the Summerfest advertising.
Interested artists and vendors can contact Thatcher at (435) 213-3858.
