Anderson: ability to really listen and find solutions among qualifications for Logan City Council

Amy Anderson says she is running for a seat on the Logan Municipal Council because she wants to help a great city become even better.

Anderson is Director of Outreach for the Sunshine Terrace Foundation and also spiritual counselor for Sunshine Home Health and Hospice. She has worked and is still working in many other local organizations.

“I’ve gotten to know a wide variety of people from very diverse backgrounds,” says Anderson. “I think one of my strengths is that ability to really listen to people, to understand what is important to them and then to help figure out, in partnership, how to help fill those needs and help make everybody’s life better.”

Among the organizations she has served with is the Cache Inter-Agency Coalition and she is a founding board member for the Community Meals organization. Anderson is one of 10 candidates running for two open seats on the Logan Municipal Council.
