The 10th Annual street dance Saturday night (7-15) in downtown Logan will benefit Four Paws Animal Rescue, a non-profit shelter which has placed over 4,000 companion animals into adoptive homes since 2005.

“We have been in operation for over 25 years but became non-profit about 17 years ago,” said Buddy Smith of Four Paws. “Most of the adoptions are at the Logan Pet Smart.”

Four Paws Rescue is a no kill shelter with a mission to address the pet overpopulation problem by reducing the number of unwanted litters while preventing the unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats. The shelter works with local veterinarians to ensure the animals’ healthy condition through vaccinations and spaying/neutering prior to adoption.

The street dance is from 7-10 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Church and Federal streets in downtown Logan featuring music from The Raindogs with Oscar and Julia.

Smith said there will be a silent auction with all proceeds going to Four Paws Rescue and donations will be accepted.

Event sponsor is Caffe Ibis.

Admission is free, food will be available at Caffe Ibis and the Italian Place.
