USU picked dead-last in Mountain West preseason poll

LAS VEGAS – The Mountain West preseason media poll and all-conference team lists are out – and they aren’t very complimentary of the Aggies.

The only spot Utah State is listed is at the bottom. Last year’s three-win team is predicted to finish sixth – dead last – in the preseason poll. The team’s 28 votes are less than all teams, regardless of division. Not one USU player made the preseason all-conference team. Air Force and Fresno State are the only other teams without a player listed.

Boise State was picked to finish first in the Mountain Division, followed by Colorado State and Wyoming. San Diego State, last year’s champions, are picked to finish first in the West Division.
