Politics don’t have to be all negative, according to Danny Beus, chairman of the Cache County Democratic Party. He says Casey Snyder, his counterpart in the Republican Party, agrees.
The political parties have announced they will be playing each other in a softball game on Thursday, August 17th, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Ridgeline High School baseball field.
The event will help raise money for the Cache Community Food Pantry.
“We live in time,” Beus states, “that has so much political hatred that, while we do not agree on most things, maybe we do agree on most things and it’s time that we come together and set an example for our community.
“Although we have our differences we can come together for the benefit of our community.”
Beus and Snyder are hoping a lot of people will turn out to see a good game being played for a good cause.
