Logan City hosting open house to gather public feedback on new library site

The choice is now down to three for the location of a new Logan City library. Logan Mayor Craig Petersen says he believes they would all be good locations, but he would like to know how the public feels about each one.

City Executive Secretary Teresa Harris says a meeting will be held this week on Thursday, August 17 starting at 6 p.m. It will be at the Utah Theatre located at 118 West 100 North.

“The mayor thought that would be a great location, getting people to downtown and they have a large screen they can do the presentation on. He thought that would be a unique location to hold it.”

The three locations being considered for the library are the Army-Navy Outdoor building located at approximately 350 North Main, the Emporium in downtown Logan at approximately 55 North Main, and the V-1 gas station at the corner of 100 West and 100 South.
