It’s the Weekend – 9/1/2017

It’s a three day weekend, and there are some great events going on. Monday is Labor Day so that means all government offices, schools and banks will be closed. But that also means it’s Founders Day in Wellsville.

They’ve got a lot of great activities in Wellsville this weekend:

– Wellsville Stampede rodeo Friday and Saturday night, a patriotic program Sunday evening at the Wellsville LDS Stake Center, and a full day of activities planned Monday. That will including a morning 5K, flag ceremony, parade, sham battle and lots of family activities throughout the day.

Paddle Board Jousting Saturday at First Dam.

– Bring your friends and joust against other teams…and costumes are encouraged! The fun begins at 10 a.m.

Friday is the Rocky Mountain Kickoff at the USU football stadium.

– It’s a high school football double header featuring Sky View vs Springville at 5:30 and then Ridgeline vs Raymond, Canada at about 8:30. $1 of every ticket sold goes to the Cache Valley for Hope Cancer Foundation.

The USU volleyball team is hosting the USU Invitational with multiple games Friday night and all day Saturday at the Wayne Estes Center on the USU campus.

You can always find practical, fun and delicious products at both the 25th Street Market in North Logan and the Cache Valley Farmers Market in Historic Downtown Logan on Saturday.

That’s a look at what’s going on this weekend.

If you have an event coming up that you’d like us to know about, feel free to post it on our website.
