A fireside program is coming to the Logan Tabernacle on Sunday, September 24 that planning director Suzanne Godfrey calls “extraordinary.” She says the meeting starts at 7 p.m. and there will be two fantastic speakers.
“The first speaker that we are going to be hearing from is John Zamudio,” Godfrey explains. “He is originally from Peru and joined the (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) when he was 15 years old.
“He is now an official artist for the church. He has incredible paintings that he has painted of Christ and children with Christ. He has also painted many depictions of Christ as he envisions Christ being with children around the world.”
Godfrey says the other speaker is Timothy Ballard, founder and CEO of Operation Underground Railroad. He spent over a decade working as a special agent for the Department of Homeland Security where he was assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Godfrey says everyone is invited to attend the fireside and there is no charge for admission.
