But first, if you’re ready to take down that live Christmas tree, there are numerous <a href=”http://www.cachevalleydaily.com/calendar/event_9b181ff8-dfca-11e7-9f64-73358f96a1cf.html” target=”_blank”>Tree-cycling</a> sites throughout Cache Valley, including the Logan Landfill. Just make sure you take off all the ornaments, lights and decorations.
The <a href=”http://www.cachevalleydaily.com/calendar/entertainment/event_a73a7384-98c2-11e7-833f-5cb9017befe7.html” target=”_blank”>Utah State Women’s basketball</a> team hosts San Diego State in their Mountain West Conference opener on Saturday. Tipoff is at 2 p.m. in the Spectrum.
The Cache Venue at 119 South Main will be hosting a semi-formal <a href=”https://thecachevenue.com/event/new-years-eve-party/” target=”_blank”>New Year’s Eve party</a> featuring live bands and a live DJ. There is a “Dance and Dine” option or a “Just Dance” option.
The Elements Restaurant is catering a <a href=”https://www.facebook.com/events/178187972773997/” target=”_blank”>New Year’s Eve buffet</a> on Sunday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Riverwoods Conference Center. And the Vineyards at Mt. Naomi Farms is hosting a <a href=”https://www.facebook.com/events/170800536989243/” target=”_blank”>New Year’s Eve party</a> as well. It begins at 7 p.m. and goes until 1 a.m. with a catered dinner, dancing and live music.
