Grizzlies flex muscle in road win over Bees

Logan jumped out to an early lead in Brigham City and cruised to a convincing 65-46 win over the Bees. The visitors lead 33-18 at the half, never allowing the hosts to get closer than 12 points in the second half.

Box Elder, who had been on a two game win streak, dropped to 5-6 on the year. Logan improves to 6-5, including wins in three of their last four games.

Max Watson of Box Elder lead all scorers with 18 points. Cameron Saunders added 11. Josh Jensen poured in 13 and Jared Bagley had 11 for Logan.

Logan hosts Olympus of Salt Lake City Friday at 7 p.m. The Titans feature former Logan player Rylan Jones, who transferred when his father, former Utah State assistant coach Chris Jones, took a job with the University of Utah mens’ basketball team. Listen to the game on KVNU 610 AM/102.1 FM.

Box Elder travels to Taylorsville on Tuesday next week.
