Chamber of Commerce CEO gives report to County Council

LOGAN – For a great quality of life the Cache Chamber of Commerce believes it is important to maximize our healthy economy and work toward keeping it healthy. That message came on Tuesday from the Chamber’s CEO Jamie Andrus, who gave a report of the Chamber at a meeting of the Cache County Council.

After serving in the position during the last six months Andrus said she believes the Chamber is doing a great work in helping the residents find and keep jobs and businesses to keep their growth and vitality.

She said the Chamber of Commerce cooperates with many different organizations and cited an example.

“The USU Huntsman School of Business is going to be putting on a venture forum,” she said. “They are bringing some great investors and speakers for businesses. They called me and they said, ‘We are doing it just for you. We are doing it just for Cache County businesses. We really want the business community to come and take advantage of our connections and what we can offer.’”

Andrus said the Chamber also works with legislators in coming up with bills that can help the business community.
