Logan High to hire new head football coach

LOGAN – Logan High will soon be getting a new football coach.

The Logan City School District posted the job opening for a new head football coach for Logan High Thursday morning, meaning two-year head coach Jayson Anderson will no longer be leading the team. Anderson compiled a 3-17 record in his two years with the program.

Anderson became the head coach in 2016 after former head coach Mike Favero left the program. Favero led the Grizzlies to five state championships in 17 seasons – the most recent in 2015. Favero is still on the staff at Logan High.

Application deadline is February 16. Priority will be given to applicants with a valid teaching license. The notice can be seen <a href=”https://static1.squarespace.com/static/553aa87be4b0f714a500848a/t/5a736d85652deaacd8396431/1517514119908/Football+Head+Coach.pdf” target=”_blank”>here</a>.
