Gordon Zilles has started his 14th year as a member of the Cache County Council and the College Ward resident says he is hoping local residents will elect him to another four-year term because he thoroughly enjoys the job.
A full-time farmer, Zilles was especially pleased this past year to get a water conservancy district approved, something he believed was seriously needed. He is also delighted about the improvements being made at the Cache County Fairgrounds.
“If you go down to the fairgrounds you’ll see one of the most beautiful buildings going up that will be used for years and years and years to come,” Zilles exclaims. “With things happening all over the valley, all year long, it will be available for the county to use and for the county fair.”
Zilles says he and other council members try to be as careful as possible in spending taxpayer money. He says he would continue to be that way if he is re-elected.
