ABOVE 7000 FEET…

Occasional light snow is expected over night, but with additional

accumulation less than one inch. Therefore the Winter Storm

Warning will expire at 5 PM MST.

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow occurring. Plan on

difficult travel conditions. Additional snow accumulations of

1 to 3 inches are expected.

* WHERE…Highway 20 from St. Anthony north to the Montana

Border including Ashton Hill, the Island Park area including

Targhee Pass and Pine Creek Pass between Swan Valley and Teton

Valley.

* WHEN…Until 11 PM MST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds gusting as high as 25 mph will

cause areas of blowing and drifting snow, especially over

mountain passes. Cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero will

cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
