Eastern Pacific:

There is no Eastern Pacific tropical discussion at this time.

Western Pacific:

Weak low pressure east of Philippines

As of Friday evening, EST, a weak tropical low pressure area is located about 350 miles east-southeast of Davao, Philippines.

This weather system will move westward across the southern Philippines over the next day or two. Current thinking is that this system will not develop into an organized tropical storm. Even so, it

can bring heavy rainfall to parts of the eastern and southern Philippines through the weekend.
