…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 11 PM PST

SUNDAY…

* WHAT…Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations

of 3 to 6 inches for Lowell and Elk City, elsewhere 9 to 13

inches, are expected.

* WHERE…Elk River, Highway 11 Pierce to Headquarters, Pierce,

Dixie, Elk City, and Highway 12 Lowell to Lolo Pass.

* WHEN…From 4 AM to 11 PM PST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel will be difficult. Winds gusting as

high as 30 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods

of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel

difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited

visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. In

addition, areas of poor visibility are likely. Winds gusting as

high as 50 mph on the Camas Prairie including the town of

Grangeville will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
