* WHAT…Heavy snow and strong winds expected. Total snow

accumulations of 12 to 24 inches with locally higher amounts

possible. Strong southerly winds gusting in excess of 60 mph

will also continue along the upper ridgelines tonight into the

day Saturday before diminishing.

* WHERE…The Wasatch and western Uinta Mountains.

* WHEN…Periods of snow will continue tonight through Saturday,

primarily across the northern Wasatch Range. Snow will become

widespread and heavy late Saturday afternoon and continue

through Saturday night and into Sunday before tapering off.
