URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

…WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED…

Scattered snow showers continue this afternoon, but significant

accumulation has not been observed. Also, winds have been

decreasing the past two hours and the risk of blowing and drifting

has greatly decreased. Therefore the advisory has been cancelled.

…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS

AFTERNOON…

* WHAT…Snow continues. Plan on difficult travel conditions.

Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch are expected.

* WHERE…I 84 from milepost 228 to the Utah border including

Sweetzer Summit, I 15 from the milepost 63 to the Utah Border

including Malad Pass, U.S. Highways 26, 30, 89 and 91, and

state highways 34 and 36.

* WHEN…Until 5 PM MST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Be prepared for significant reductions in

visibility at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

conditions are occurring. If you must travel, keep an extra

flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an
