A few morning flurries will occur across eastern New England

today, while dry weather is in store from the Northeast and

Middle Atlantic southward across the Carolinas. A storm

system will bring blizzard conditions to the Dakotas while

snow also spread across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Periods of

rain will occur across Iowa and Illinois, while scattered

showers and thunderstorms will occur across southeastern

Texas, southern Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Farther

west, an upper-level disturbance will bring a couple of snow

showers to northern Idaho and western Montana, while a few

showers will occur along the Washington coast. High pressure

will bring dry and pleasant weather to much of the Southwest

along with plenty of sunshine.
