URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

.A strong area of low pressure will spin over northwest Iowa
through tonight. Snowfall will continue to move west southwest
into western South Dakota through tonight. The heaviest snow will
fall across central South Dakota. Upslope enhanced snow over the
northern Black Hills will wane by this evening.
Very strong winds will occur on the plains of western South
Dakota through this evening, with gusts of 55 to 65 mph likely.
The combination of snow and strong winds will produce blizzard
conditions across portions of northwest through central South
Dakota. Elsewhere where light snow falls, some blowing snow will

up to one inch are expected.
* WHERE…In Wyoming, the Wyoming Black Hills. In South Dakota,

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions,
including during the evening commute. In addition, areas of
