LOGAN — Police are asking for the public’s help, identifying a suspect who was seen breaking into a store early Tuesday morning. Logan City Police have released security camera footage of the burglary that occurred at the Blue Sphynx, around 4:00 a.m.

The video shows the suspect breaking the glass of the front door and then entering the store. They are seen leaving two-minutes later with a backpack, believed to be full of merchandise.

Officers responded to the store minutes later, after the suspect allegedly triggered an alarm. They report the suspect stole 12 bottles of Kratom, an herbal drug used as a stimulant and sedative.

The video appears to show the suspect wearing a coat with a hood. They also had a scarf that partially obscured their face.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Logan City Police Department.
