Grains mixed, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 8.40 cents at $5.05 a bushel; March corn was up 1.60 cents at $3.8020 bushel; March oats was unchanged at $2.6540 a bushel while March soybeans fell 5.40 cents at $10.60 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was off .40 cent at $1.2280 a pound; March feeder cattle fell .75 cent at $1.4408 a pound; April lean hogs lost 1.70 cents at $.6723 a pound.
