Eastern Pacific:

The 2017 hurricane season has ended

The 2017 East Pacific hurricane season has ended. The season featured a total of 18 named systems and two depressions which were not named.

Western Pacific:

Watching low pressure near Pohnpei

As of Sunday evening, EDT, an area of tropical low pressure was located approximately 125 miles northwest of Pohnpei. Latest satellite imagery shows a low-level circulation center along with some

increased convection north and east of the center. Due to warm sea-surface temperatures and low vertical wind shear, further development of this system is likely as it moves westward over the next 24

hours.

Southern Pacific:

No new information for this time period.
