LOGAN – The Republican numbers may be larger but Cache County Democratic Party Chairman Danny Beus said those who turned out for his party’s convention are not only hopeful but eager to be involved.
“We had of independent votes show up and we had a lot of Republican voters who switched their affiliation that very night,” he said. “I think in the county and on a national level people are sick and tired of the status quo and we need to give everybody a shot. I think people are considering Democrats more than ever.”
Beus said he’s happy about the fact that Democrats are running local races such as the Cache County Council and the Utah House of Representatives.
