Daniel Kent discusses his run for school board position

LOGAN – Daniel Kent is a strong supporter of schools and he serves on both the Logan Schools Foundation Board and the Logan High School Community Council. Now Kent said he would like to be a member of the school board and has filed for a seat in the Logan School Board’s District 5.

Kent said he feels his experiences have helped him qualify for that position.

“I have children in elementary school, middle school and high school,” he said. “I feel like we need more parent representation on the board and would like to continue efforts to make sure that the funding available gets into our classrooms to benefit our students as much as possible.”

There are two other candidate running for the school board seat in Larry Williams and Sara Menlove Doutre.
