Waterline blowout diverts traffic on 200 North

The Utah Department of Transportation is diverting traffic on 200 North because of a waterline blowout. According to UDOT, all westbound traffic is being diverted at 950 West to 400 North, westbound to 1000 West, then back to 200 North and State Road 30. Earlier in the day, it was believed that a larger detour area would be needed to address the issue. State Road 30, also known as Valley View Highway, remains open to traffic in both directions.

If you need to travel along that route, expect heavy congestion. Otherwise, consider using alternate routes.

This story will be updated when the road re-opens.
