LOGAN — Deputies have arrested a 41-year-old Providence man accused of sexually abusing a child, and suspect there may be more victims.  Brevan B. Baugh was booked last week into the Cache County Jail.

Cache County Sheriff’s Lt. Brian Locke said investigators received a report of the alleged sexual abuse on the morning of July 5.  Baugh was booked into jail later that afternoon.  He was released after posting $40,000 bail.

Baugh is a naturopathic physician and owner of Naturopathic Medical in Providence.

Monday prosecutors charged Baugh in 1st District Court with two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony.  It is expected that he’ll be formally arraigned later this month.

Locke said the investigation is ongoing and there is reason to believe there are more victims.  He is asking anyone who may have information about previous dealings with Baugh to contact the sheriff’s office.

Oh good. Another family’s lives turned upside down with charges of alleged sexual abuse. Great work! I’m sure the calls to crucify him will be coming soon. Because of my own experience with the corrupt media, corrupt law enforcement and the corrupt legal system i tend to not believe anything I hear that comes from those sources. I also believe in repentance. Something most people around here don’t really believe in. God bless Dr. Baugh and his family that they will be able to get through this!!! You’re not alone. And IF there is a victim in this besides Dr baugh and his family, God bless them too. But that’s a big IF.

This person now has multiple allegations of sexual abuse against him, from multiple victims. No need to crucify him, but it is important the community is aware of the allegations against him.
Looking at other court records this is not Dr. Baugh’s first interactions with the law and the court system. He was arrested for reckless driving and under the influence of a controlled system. Additional, he had some run in with the law while out of state on the east cost.
If he was my doctor I would stop seeing someone who was accused of such things and exercised poor judge while driving and using a controlled substance.
It is easy to judge him. But, it is best to wait and see what happens in court with these claims.

There is a reason to believe that this is fake news.

Dr Baugh is my doctor and I have never seen anything but kind and professional behavior from him.

Can we stop with the witch hunt?
A fair and speedy trial is pretty much impossible after the way the media has handled this.

It will be hard to find as good of doctor anywhere. A lot of us are depending on him for serious health care issues. IF he owes a debt to society, I hope he can pay it by doing what he does best…HEALING PEOPLE.

A good doctor would not be accused of sexually abusing a child, driving recklessly, or drive under the influence of a controlled substance. I do not see a witch hunt. I see the media doing what the media does. Report the news. If found guilty of these numerous charges his debt to society will be whatever the judge determines it to be. Which in cases of this nature is prison. A safe place for people convicted of sexually abusing a child is prison, not a doctors office where they could be allow with a child.
