Seniors invited to share their talents at upcoming show

If you are 60 or older and you have any kind of talent, you are invited to participate in an event coming up on Wednesday, July 18th.

“Seniors Got Talent” begins at 12:15 p.m. at the Cache County Senior Center, 240 North 100 East in Logan. The event is co-sponsored by the Cache County Senior Center and Sunshine Terrace. Director of Outreach for the Sunshine Terrace Foundation, Amy Anderson, says it is a fun event and they are looking for more participants.

“The intent,” Anderson explains, “is to showcase the fact that those of us in our community who are 60 and older still have amazing talents to share with each other and with the community.

“If people are interested, if they have desire to sing, or if they play an instrument, or perhaps there is a poem they have written or that they really appreciate that they would like to share as a speaker, any talent is welcome to come and participate.”

Anderson says there will be judges, but there is no real judging as everyone who participates is a winner. For information about participating in “Seniors Got Talent”, call (435) 755-1720.
