Work to reconfigure and signalize the intersection of U.S. 89/91 and 1000 West (also known as State Road 52) is nearly complete, according to Utah Department of Transportation. According to a press release, UDOT says the majority of the work is now taking place at night.
The sealing surface on asphalt and road striping have been placed. Crews anticipate installing and activating the new signal on Sunday, August 12th between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Sign installation and placing of road markings are ongoing. Access to 1800 South and 1200 East are permanently closed.
