When police arrived on the scene, the female driver of the Mustang was unconscious but breathing.  She was transferred by paramedics to Logan Regional Hospital and later transferred to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden.

Hooley didn’t release the identity of the woman because of her severe condition.  He said, “We are hoping for the best for her.”

The 23-year-old male driver of the truck was uninjured.  There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Initially, police suspect the woman failed to yield to oncoming traffic while making the turn.  They are also looking at whether the snowy weather was a factor.
