New book highlights the many wonderful things to do in Cache Valley

In response to those who contend there is nothing to do in and around Logan, Cache Valley Visitors Bureau Director Julie Hollist Terrill has a new book available this week that she says proves the opposite is true.

“117 Amazing Things To Do in Logan and Cache Valley, Utah” is a project she and her husband, Jesse, started in August.

“I think after years of hearing people say that,” Terrill explained, “that there’s nothing to do around here when I know very well that there are people who come from all over the world just to do what we have to do here, I just finally said, let’s show them otherwise. So, we have tried to do that.”

She said there are dozens of options.

“There are shopping places, so there’s everything from the Island Market, to different celebrations like… the Cruise In, but there’s all the gorgeous gourds on display at the Pumpkin Walk out in North Logan. How to become a True Aggie. It’s fun and there’s tons of outdoors things and arts things.

“And I hope there’s a little bit in there for everyone and certainly something I think that there’ll be at least something in there that everyone will be like ‘Oh, I never knew that.”

She said the book is available at the Cache Valley Visitors Bureau and the Book Table.
