Green Canyon found itself in an unfamiliar place early in their road game at Box Elder Tuesday night.
The Bees jumped out to a 26-15 first quarter lead, mostly due to junior guard Riley Dalghren’s outside shooting touch. The junior guard scored 13 first quarter points, after only notching six total points in the Bees’ first two games.
But ever resilient, Green Canyon chipped away with defense and skilled offensive sets to even up the game at the half, then pulled away for an 89-72 win.
Carter Berish lit up the Bees with 32 points, including five three pointers. Dewey Panter added 14, Kasen Holbrook 12, and McKay Yorgason 10.
For Box Elder, Dahlgren finished with 20, Tyson Madson added 16 and Parker Buchanan scored 14.
