“Treecycling” drop sites to open Friday, December 14th

The Logan City Environmental Department would like to announce that the annual “Treecycling” drop site locations will be open Friday December 14, 2018 through January 14, 2019.

After that date, Christmas trees will need to be taken, for no charge, to the green waste facility at the Logan City Landfill at  1400 W 200 N in Logan.

The Department asks that residents remove lights, ornaments, tinsel, stands, etc before placing live trees at the drop site locations (no artificial trees please).

Drop site locations are included below and available on the city’s website or by calling city offices at (435) 716-9755.

 

Logan Drop Sites: 

Aquatic Center/Skate Park: 500 South 600 West

Bridgerland Park: 900 North 100 West

Logan Regional Hospital (south side of West parking lot): 1300 North 500 East

Adam’s Park (South Side): 475 East 500 North

USU Spectrum (North Side): 840 East 1000 North

Hillcrest Elementary (east side of school yard): 1500 East 900 North

Johansen Park: 850 East 100 North

Pioneer Park: 150 East 100 South

Recreation Center: (South parking lot) 300 South 100 West

Gibbons Mount Logan Park: 1400 East 150 South

Logan Landfill: Green Waste Facility at 200 North 1400 West

Clarkston Post Office: 100 North 150 East

Hyde Park (Lee Park): 600 West Hyde Park Lane

Hyrum City Park: 675 East 50 North

Lewiston City Park: 200 East Center Street

Mendon City Park: 100 North Main Street
