It’s the Weekend: Dec. 20-Dec. 31, 2018

There are still some great things to see and do during this holiday season, including some great ways to ring in the New Year.

Gift Wrapping Help

If you need help wrapping presents for Christmas, CAPSA’s Gift Wrap Booth at the Cache Valley Mall can help. All funds help support CAPSA’s mission of helping victims of abuse in Cache Valley.

Christmas Concert Series

The Logan Tabernacle Christmas Concert Series continues this week. Concerts this week include the Ranch Hands Band on Thursday, on Friday John Knudson and Jason Tonioli perform violin and piano holiday music, and on Saturday enjoy an evening of Christmas music unlike any other. Your favorite performers come together for one special evening concluding with a tribute to the 200th anniversary of Silent Night.

Fill the Van

Help fill the van with needed supplies for the Cache Humane Society on Saturday. The van will be at the south Walmart from 11 to 3. Staff will be on hand passing out wish lists.

Parade of Gingerbread Homes

There are only a few days left to see and vote on your favorite creations in the Parade of Gingerbread Homes. The gingerbread homes are displayed at 14 locations throughout historic downtown Logan.

New Year’s Eve Parties

If you’ve got teenagers, the largest multi-high school New Year’s Eve dance is Monday, December 31st at the Cache County Events Center.

Elite Hall in Hyrum is hosting a family-friendly New York New Year’s Eve. The party begins at 6 p.m. with a catered dinner, dancing, games and watching the live ball drop in New York at 10 p.m.
