The deadline for those interested in participating in this year’s Summerfest Arts Faire is fast approaching.
The Summerfest Arts Faire is currently accepting applications from visual artists, performers, and food vendors for its 2019 festival, which will take place June 13-15. The deadline for applications is February 17, 2019.
“We still have lots of opening for artists, food vendors and musicians,” said Elaine Thatcher, Summerfest’s executive director.
The festival is held each year on Father’s Day weekend on the Logan Tabernacle grounds.
“That is something we appreciate because it’s such a great central location and we abide by the family-friendly standards of the ground,” said Thatcher. “We’re trying to make it bigger and better this year.”
Performers and food vendors wishing to participate can apply at Summerfest’s website, www.logansummerfest.com. Visual artists and craftspeople may apply through Zapplication, an online arts application service at www.zapplication.org. All links are on the Summerfest website.
“We strongly encourage all artists to apply online,” said Thatcher. “If someone needs help with doing an online application, they can call and make an appointment to come in, and we’ll help them. Online applications are much easier for us to manage than paper ones.”
Interested artists and vendors can also contact Thatcher at (435) 213-3858 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
