The Intemountain Box Elder InstaCare will be closing May 19, 2019 due to the low number of patients visiting the location, said Holly Nelson, a media relations specialist.

Box Elder InstaCare opened on May 23, 2016. Intermountain Healthcare officials are working with all caregivers at the Box Elder InstaCare to place them in similar roles at other Intermountain Healthcare locations nearby.

There is an Intermountain North Ogden InstaCare, located at 2400 N. Washington Blvd. in North Ogden, which is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. You can get in line for North Ogden InstaCare by visiting www.instacare.org or calling (801) 786-7500.

Intermountain Healthcare has two other locations available for walk-in urgent care needs within a 20 minute drive.

In Box Elder County, Intermountain Bear River Clinic, located at 935 N. 1000 W. Tremonton, offers Family Medicine appointments.

InstaCares take the pressure off of clinics and emergency rooms by providing licensed physicians and specialized staff to handle non-life-threatening urgent care needs, from sore throats and illnesses to cuts or broken bones.
