Fair and Rodeo highlight events taking place this weekend in and around Cache Valley

It’s Fair and Rodeo time in Cache County! The animals, the exhibits, the rides…we’ve got all the details about the fair and everything else going on in our community this weekend.

Cache County Fair and Rodeo

The Cache County Fair and Rodeo takes place Thursday through Saturday at the Cache County Fairgrounds. With carnival rides, rodeo, live music, animals, exhibits and more, there’s definitely something for everyone. The carnival and concessions go from 11 a.m. to midnight each day. Pre-rodeo events begin at 7:30 and the Rodeo begins at 8 p.m. each night. Free music will be on the main stage each evening, featuring Majave Rose Band on Thursday, Rough Stock on Friday and the Bellamy Brothers on Saturday.

Thursday Evening Music

There’s free music at the fairgrounds each evening, and there will also be free music Thursday evening at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art at USU. Free coffee and tea will be provided beginning at 5 p.m., and the art gallery will also be open.

Antony and Cleopatra

Logan Youth Shakespeare presents Antony and Cleopatra at the Bullen Center. Performances Thursday and Friday are at 7 p.m. and Saturday’s performance is at 2.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

It’s the final weekend of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Old Barn Community Theater in Collinston. Performances of stubborn men and cunning women are Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.

End of Summer Party

Join the staff of the Logan Family Center as they celebrate the end of summer. Bubbles, a water balloon toss, water games and otter pops will be going on from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday.

Community Art Day

Put together personal life stories through accordion books, envelope books and zines at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art on Saturday. The Community Art Day is free, all materials will be provided and begins at 9 a.m.

First Dam Pancake Fun Run

The 6th annual First Dam Pancake Fun Run is Saturday morning. The race begins at First Dam at 9 a.m. and finishes at Herm’s Inn, where a delicious pancake breakfast awaits the runners. 100% of all proceeds support autism research and education.
