Utah State football adds graduate transfer Terin Adams

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head football coach Gary Andersen announced Tuesday the addition of Terin (Tear-un) Adams to the Aggie football program. Adams is cleared to play immediately and will be a junior with two years of eligibility.

Adams, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back from Kirkland, Wash. (Eastside Catholic HS), spent the past season at Arizona State as he played in all 13 games. Overall, he recorded 30 tackles, including 3.0 tackles for loss, while adding one pass breakup for the Sun Devils.

Prior to his time at Arizona State, Adams played his freshman season at City College of San Francisco, where he recorded 14 tackles to go along with four pass breakups, three interceptions and a fumble recovery in 10 games. During the 2017 season, he helped the Rams to an 8-3 record and a victory in the NCFC Capital City Bowl.

Following his season at City College of San Francisco, Adams was ranked as the No. 10 JUCO cornerback and No. 83 overall JUCO prospect by 247Sports.
