Aggies in the NFL – Week 1

LOGAN, Utah – Twelve former Aggies are on active NFL rosters. See how they did in week one of the 2019 campaign.

Maurice Alexander (LB – Buffalo Bills) – Alexander is in his sixth season in the NFL and first season with the Bills. In Buffalo’s 17-16 win against the New York Jets, Alexander played in 16 special teams snaps and recorded one tackle.

Jalen Davis (S – Arizona Cardinals) – Davis is in his second season in the NFL and first with the Cardinals. Davis did not play in Arizona’s 27-27 tie against the Detroit Lions.

Kyler Fackrell (LB – Green Bay Packers) – Fackrell is in his fourth season in the NFL with the Packers. In Green Bay’s 10-7 win at Chicago, Fackrell recorded two assisted tackles and played in 23 defensive snaps, as well as 14 special teams snaps, against the Bears.

Tyler Larsen (OL – Carolina Panthers) – Larsen is in his fourth season with the Panthers and fifth year in the NFL. In Carolina’s 30-27 loss against the Rams, Larsen played in six special teams snaps.

Nevin Lawson (CB – Oakland Raiders) – Lawson is in his first season with the Oakland Raiders and sixth year in the NFL. The Raiders open their regular season on Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos.

Dallin Leavitt (SS – Oakland Raiders) – Leavitt is in his second season in the NFL with the Oakland Raiders. Leavitt and the Raiders open their regular season on Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos.

Devante Mays (RB – Jacksonville Jaguars) – Mays is in his first season with the Jaguars and third season in the NFL. Mays did not play in Jacksonville’s 40-26 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Donald Penn (OT – Washington Redskins) – Penn is in his first season with the Redskins and 13th year in the NFL. Penn started at left tackle and played in all 67 offensive snaps in his Washington debut, as the Redskins opened the season with a 32-27 road loss at Philadelphia.

Patrick Scales (LS – Chicago Bears) – Scales is in his fifth year with the Bears and ninth year in the NFL. In Chicago’s 10-3 loss to the Packers last Thursday night, Scales played in nine special teams snaps.

Darwin Thompson (RB – Kansas City Chiefs) – Thompson is in his first season in the NFL with the Chiefs. In Kansas City’s 40-26 road win over Jacksonville, Thompson played two offensive snaps and nine special snaps, and made one catch for three yards.

Nick Vigil (LB – Cincinnati Bengals) – Vigil is in his fourth year in the NFL with the Bengals. In Cincinnati’s 21-20 road loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Vigil started at linebacker and had seven tackles, two of which were solo, and one tackle for a loss. Vigil played 48 of the team’s 53 defensive snaps, and three special teams snaps.

Bobby Wagner (LB – Seattle Seahawks) – Wagner is in his eighth year in the NFL with the Seahawks. In Seattle’s 21-20 win over Cincinnati, Wagner started at linebacker and had nine tackles, seven of which were solo, and a team-best two tackles for a loss, while playing in all 77 defensive snaps and five special teams snaps.
