There’s literally and figuratively a chill in the air in Historic Downtown Logan. Learn about the downtown’s most infamous ghosts in the Historic Downtown Ghost Tour every Friday and Saturday night in October. Reservations are required.

Sky View High School presents Disney’s Freaky Friday the Musical, beginning this Friday and Saturday, and continuing next week.

USU Observatory Night

View Cache Valley’s night sky and some of the planets of our solar system at the USU Observatory Friday night. Admission is free. But be aware, if there’s bad weather the event will be cancelled.

Mythical Creatures and Where to Learn Them

This Saturday is the first one of the month, which means the USU Museum of Anthropology is hosting Family First Saturday morning. This month, the theme is Mythical Creatures and Where to Learn Them. You can even come dressed as your favorite creature.

Harold and Luella Seeholzer Memorial

Beaver Mountain Ski Resort is unveiling a special monument on Saturday for the founders of the ski resort. The Harold and Luella Seeholzer Memorial will be unveiled starting at 12:30 on Saturday.

Bridgerland Band Invitational

More than 30 marching bands from Utah and Idaho compete on Merlin Olsen Field at the Bridgerland Band Invitational on Saturday. Local bands Ridgeline, Mountain Crest and Sky View will all be participating throughout the day.

Blessing of the Animals

All creatures great and small are invited to St. John’s Episcopal Church on Saturday for the Blessing of the Animals. Cats, dogs, fish, even horses have been known to participate in this annual event, which starts at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Toast

Toast, a live tribute band to the music of David Gates and Bread, will be performing Saturday night at the Ellen Eccles Theatre. The concert starts at 7:30.
