Lynette Campbell

September 21, 1955 ~ November 24, 2019 – (age 64)

Sunday, November 24, 2019 Our beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Grandmother and most endearing friend Lynette Campbell passed through this mortal life. She was generous and kind, loved her family fiercely and could fill rooms with her laughter.

She was born in Burley, Idaho on September 21, 1955, the second of four children to Joyce Martindale (Purser) and Gale Manning. She was a fun, feisty little girl with beautiful, blonde, ringlet curls. She married Dan Campbell on February 12, 1973. Together they had six children, Daniel, Jacob, Richard, Nathan, Brandi, and Nicholas. They later divorced. She lived in many places in Idaho, Arizona and Utah in her lifetime, influencing and befriending all around her.

She enjoyed sewing, crafting, painting, cooking, and reading among many other things. She graduated from Utah State University at the age of 44 to pursue her dream career in teaching children with special needs. She recently retired from Cache County School District after teaching in the Special Education Preschool program for 18 years. Miss Lynette truly loved every student who came in her classroom. And they loved her.

Her absolute favorite thing was to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She knew just how to spoil her grandchildren with devious delight. She cherished them all, near and far. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Brigham City 5th Ward. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, teacher and friend. We love and miss her beyond words.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Joyce and Sterling Purser (Brigham City, Utah); father, Gale Manning (Dayton, Washington); son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Becky Campbell (Florissant, Colorado); son and daughter-in-law, Jacob and Bobby Jo Campbell (Blackfoot, Idaho); son, Rick Campbell (Dayton, Washington); son, Nathan Campbell (Minneapolis, Minnesota); daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Randall Heinsohn (Tremonton, Utah); son and daughter-in-love, Nick Campbell and Shannon Mattson (Prior Lake, Minnesota); sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Dennis Thornton (Sandy, Utah); brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Dianne Manning (Taylorsville, Utah); brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Kozette Manning (Taylorsville, Utah); sister and brother-in-law, Amy and William Crawley (Pace, Florida); sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Robert Delaney (Bear River City, Utah); grandchildren: Mackenzie, Chloe, Cash, Justina and Caleb, Seth, Joyce, Connor, Ryley, Drake, Cayden, Drew, AnaKayla, Lauren, and many step-siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday evening, December 1, 2019 at the Brigham City 5th Ward building at 420 South 800 West, Brigham City, Utah.

The family would like to thank Rudd Funeral Home and Bear River Valley Hospital for their care.

Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at rogersandtaylor.com

I’m so sorry. Eddie’s baby is getting blessed tomorrow and we have out of towners here so I won’t even be able to see you.
