Christopher K. Coombs

February 22, 1974 – December 24, 2019

Christopher K. Coombs passed away peacefully on December 24, 2019, surrounded by his wife and children.  Chris was born in Twin Falls Idaho on February 22, 1974.  Chris met the love of his life, his wife, Denny Jo (Denise) Layne, while working at Moore Business Forms, he worked in the plant and she worked in the Cafeteria.  They were married on November 23, 1999.  Together they had 3 children, Skyler K. Coombs, Qualie Jo Coombs, and Oakley Sue Coombs.  On September 15, 2018 they were sealed in the Brigham City Temple.

Chris graduated from Bear River High School in 1992.  He was journeyman Painter.  He worked For Bourne Painting; he was proud of his work.  Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved the outdoors, almost as much as his wife and children.

Chris is survived by his wife Denise Coombs, his 3 children, Skyler K. Coombs, Qualie Jo Coombs, & Oakley Sue Coombs.  Dennis & Marion Layne (father in law & mother in law), Andrew & Peggy Layne (brother in law & sister in law), Tralyn & Josh Debres (sister in law & brother in law), Scott & Candace Layne (brother in law and sister in law), David & Tanya Layne (brother in law and sister in law), Sam & Betty Coombs (parents), Ingrid & Randy Wall (sister and brother in law), Amber & Britton Howe (sister & brother in law), Eric & Lyndsey Coombs (brother & sister in law), Dycie & Ryan Leishman (sister & brother in law), & Lacy & Matt Daniels (sister & brother in law), many nieces & nephews, & many friends who turned into family along the way.

Chris is preceded in death by Sheldon Coombs (brother), Paul & Bonnie Coombs (grandparents), Joe & Darlene Hurd (grandparents).

A special thank you to everyone who called, texted, emailed, or came over.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah 84337.  An open house will be held at 10:00am.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00am.
