CACHE VALLEY – If you have been enjoying the relatively mild weather, we can enjoy it one more day but a change is on the way. A potent winter storm will bring a strong cold front through Utah Sunday night into Monday.
This storm will bring much colder temperatures and the potential for significant snow across the area. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Sunday evening through Monday evening for much of Utah and southwest Wyoming, including the Utah portion of the Cache Valley.
Impacts include temperatures at least 10 degrees colder between Sunday and Monday, significant valley and mountain snow accumulations that will impact travel, also travel difficulties possible in valley locations for the Monday morning commute. Cache Valley has seen temperatures in the mid 30’s to lower 40’s every day for the past 10 days.
