Parry hopes to bring conversation and dignity back to Washington

LOGAN – Ballots are going out. In fact, some residents have them in hand so that means election time is happening. KVNU’s For the People program continued spotlighting candidates on Wednesday. Running for the Congressional seat that Republican Rob Bishop is vacating, the Democratic candidate for District 1 is Darren Parry.

He was asked about the respectful interchange he had in a recent debate with his opponent Blake Moore.

“If those that are listening haven’t heard the debate, you can go on the Utah Debate Commission and watch it. That, to me, really speaks volumes of what needs to happen in Washington, D.C.

“We can have all the policies we want, all the greatest ideas, we can meet with this person and that person. But at the end of the day, I think most people are really concerned about how divided the country is,” Parry said.

He said things won’t get accomplished until lawmakers start at least getting along.

“You can have the greatest things in the world that you want to do, but until that tone changes, and until we take the partisanship out of Washington, D.C., not a lot is going to get done. As a tribal leader, as somebody that’s been around the block a time or two, I realize how important that is, to build coalitions, to give people a voice, to listen and then sit down together and make good decisions.”

Parry said there are many Republicans who back him because they know him and what he stands for. But they cannot publicly endorse him because of the ‘D’ (Democrat) by his name, as it would be a political kiss of death.

He asks that people who might be Republicans to go to his website darrenforutah.com, look at his policies, also to ask people who know him what kind of person he is and then make their decision.

A vote for Parry is a vote for Nancy Pelosi to control the House. She has no desire to work with any Republican to maintain the freedom and liberty of the individuals of this country. That is what this election is about. I would rather vote for maintaining individual liberties, then voting for a smooth talking politician. If Parry professes a believe in the LDS religion, It was his God that went to an uneducated boy to restore his truths, NOT A SELF PROCLAIMED PREACHER!

If we want someone to preserve our freedom, will a lifetime politician do the job or a bold forceful leader that loves this country?

Will Parry declare to today that he will vote for the Republican nominee for Speaker of the House for 2021?

These politician are some real pompous posteriors.
Claiming the country needs to come together.
If he professes a believe in the LDS religion, not even the
God he professes to believe in could not get 1/3 of his children to follow
    him, instead of Satan.

What does Parry and these other politicians believe they are greater than God?

Did Parry or Blake Moore accuse the other of working with Russia to get elected? Did either of them falsify information on warrants to be submitted to a judge to get FBI surveillance authorized? Have either one bared false witness in the media to bring about a multimillion
dollar government investigation against the other?

If someone accused them of absolutely horrible acts (such as PED…) and they knew they did not do it. Would they defend themselves, even to the point of being angry? Many would. People that claim to be religious should that expect a man to run faster then he has strength.
