Cauleen Rose Hawks

February 11, 1928 ~ June 4, 2021 (age 93)

Cauleen Rose Hawks was born February 11, 1928 in Salmon, Idaho.

She spent her early years on her family’s ranch in May, Idaho until her high school years which she spent at the prestigious Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah.

She spent time as a café owner in the 50’s, a homemaker in the 60’s and 70’s, and a computer operator in Okinawa, Japan in the 80’s.

She retired with her husband Leo and spent 5 years enjoying life in Arizona and Utah until Leo passed in 1990. She then rededicated her time to her family and grandchildren and once again went back to her restaurant roots helping her son, Terry, at his sushi bar as head cashier.

Her final years were unfortunately spent bedridden but largely pain free.

She is survived by her: Four sons: Jim Sharp, Jay Beck, Ted Hawks, Terry Hawks And one daughter: Karin Johnson 10 grandchildren: Ciara, Shanna, Jaime, Lauren, Noah, Coury, Logan, Jackson, Crystelle, Felica 12 Great grandchildren: Mckindslea, Cambridge, Jenna, Aubriannah, Caedmon, Caixtain, Emberleigh, Jamison, Anthony, Ruby, Jasmine, Ronan.

She passed peacefully in her sleep June 4, 2021 and will be laid to rest in Portage, Utah next her husband Leo on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 10:00am.
