I’m wondering how many annual deaths there were (in years past) from the common flu? Note that (according to my doctor) there are no flu deaths reported now, because the test can’t accurately distinguish between the flu and Covid-19… just asking.

Google “excess deaths” and see how many people ABOVE predicted have died from the pandemic. It isn’t the flu. Your doctor might be an idiot.

Flu deaths in the US range from 12,000 to 52,000 annually according to the CDC. Covid has killed 900,000 so far over the last two years. Covid tests identify only the specific virus that causes Covid. That virus is different from the flu virus or the virus that causes the common cold. Hope this helps answers your questions.
