Summer activities kick off at North Logan Library

NORTH LOGAN — The community is invited to join the fun as the North Logan City Library kicks off their Summer Fundraising Party and Summer Reading Kick-off on Friday evening from 630p.m. to 830p.m.

All fundraising will go to support the library as it raises money for an extensive remodel of the existing library and the addition of a civic center with event space.  The goal is $80,000 by September.

All of the valley is invited to help raise money for a good cause and have fun. Entry is free.  There is a suggested donation of $1 dollar per person and $10 for a family of five or more.

Also, participants will receive one raffle ticket for every dollar donated. Tickets allow patrons to enter raffles for big ticket items from supporting sponsors.

There will be bounce houses, a balloon artist, yard games and booths with free activities for the kids to enjoy.

In addition, the Star Wars cosplay group, the 501st Legion, will host a dance party and photo opportunity.

There will also be treats to purchase from the Kona Shaved Ice Truck and Kettle Korn of Cache Valley.  The library is located at 475 East  2500 North in North Logan.
